* Installation Notes
■ Not completely waterproof. While it features a drip-proof structure that prevents water ingress during normal riding in rain, submerging the unit will allow water to enter through the bottom.
■ The meter features a ventilation hole at the bottom to mitigate temperature differences caused by lighting heat and ambient air. However, condensation may occur on the inner panel surface during high humidity or rapid temperature changes. This is especially common when using a bike stored indoors during cold seasons, as the temperature difference between the meter and outside air is significant upon starting.
■ Do not ride with the headlight OFF. If a high-wattage bulb (especially the headlight) burns out, the balance between power generation and consumption is lost, leading to overvoltage in the electrical system. This can cause meter illumination bulb failure (LEDs are non-replaceable) or damage to the stock regulator. On battery-equipped vehicles, this leads to overcharging and battery degradation. If the headlight burns out, stop riding immediately or switch to high beam (adjusting the optical axis) and ride at low RPM. This is particularly critical for battery-less vehicles like the Ape 50/100 and modified engines running at higher RPMs than stock. Never install a simple headlight switch that cuts the lamp wiring.
■ The speed warning light will not function. Installing this product disables the speed warning light on 50cc models. Please be aware of speed limits.
■ Cannot be installed on metal headlight cases used on some limited edition or 6V models.
